Happy New Year!
Hello there, and happy new years! 2023 was a amazing year, Dungeon Drafters released after years of development, it got some prizes too, I'm still blow away by that, again thanks everyone for your support for the game. I started this blog (that I didn't post much haha), played a lot of amazing games, Galaxy Yuna 2 and 3, Ganbare Goemon for N64, played a ton of FFXI (I still gonna make a blogpost about it), tons of Dreamcast games that was on my backlog for years, Dragons Dogma too (I'm hyped for the sequel, it's looks amazing). I watched a lot of good stuff too, King-Ohger is amazing, Shin Kamen Rider was amazing, Godzilla Minus-One amazing too, Gridman Universe was beautiful, lot of kino stuff.
This year past in a blink of a eye for me, lot of stuff happened, and there's still things I need to do, but I'm really hyped, lot of stuff incoming for 2024, I hope I can deliver then haha. I can't talk much about future stuff because nothing is set up right now, but maybe next year I can talk more about them here, look foward to it. But one thing I can talk is, next year Dungeon Drafters is comming to consoles, yay! If you're waiting for it to release on consoles it's finally coming, it took some time, more then the team expected, but it's nice that's gonna release.
I hope 2024 can be great as 2023, lot of stuff to do, and lot of things I want to do. For now, let's enjoy the final day of the year and the start of the new year before things go out of control for this workholic here haha. Have a happy new year everyone and a great 2024!
See ya!
If you still here, go watch Ultraman Tiga, thanks.

Dungeon Drafters on Sale yay!
Hey, long time without posting, I've playing FFXI and it's sucking all my free time haha. I'm having a blast and I forgot to post something here like I promised. But today I'm posting here because Drafters is on sale, yay! Dangen Summer Sale is happening right now on Steam, and it goes until August 25th, you can grab the game with a 20% discount, sounds nice right?!
If this is not enough for you, do it for the Mage, look how cute she's on this banner art. Besides that, buying the game helps a lot, as Manalith can keep doing more games haha. And I really loved this summer sale banner art, the mage looks great on it, and the interactions with the other Dangen games really well done, the artwork is really lovely.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all the players who have been playing Dungeon Drafters and sharing their passion for the game, their feedbacks, their good stories playing it, all the meta playstyles created by it (I'm really impressed by how it's possible to finish the game with only starter packs). I really glad people are having fun with it. In the release we got a bit scaried with all the problems the game showed, but the hard work the team is putting to fix the problems and people sharing all their love for the game are helping a lot. It makes me feel glad for all the hard work put onto theses past years into Dungeon Drafters. Thanks again! Hope people keeps enjoying the game. Until a new tomorrow.
See ya!
If you still here, thanks for playing Dungeon Drafters, really thanks.

BIG Festival 2023
Last week I was attending the BIG Festival 2023. Dungeon Drafters was running as Best Brazilian Game and Best Game. We didn't win any of those two awards, but I'm happy to attend it after so many years. Meeting old and new friends, seeing new games, seeing how the gamedev scene in Brazil is getting better and better made me happy.
I want to recomend some games I played at the event and liked it:
- Drainus: I'm a fanboy of Team Ladybug games, but this one, damn, they nailed it, my favorite one on the floor, the first stage, goddammit, pure art. The core mechanic is so well done, it embraces all the style and philosophy that Team Ladybug had on their previous games in a majestic way, so if you love shumps, go play it.
- Bloodless: cool mechanics based on parry and it feels so good, the timmings are good, the pixelart is great and the music is cool.
- Astrea: cool dice based game, I'm not a fan of this type of gameplay as Drafters is a totally opposite of Astrea in gameplay philosophy, but damn, the game is so well polished, that beautiful artwork got me really impressed.
- The Wandering Village: if you love city-building, I recommend a lot this game, I almost got lost in time playing it at the venue, it's beautiful, and the idea behind you living in a giant creature and you have to decide how to co-live with it is amazing.
- Roadout: cool action game, the demo was short, so I didn't get to taste all the game has to offer, but what I played was really good, the level design based on camera change perspective is really cleverly made, the combat felt fast and good, really impressed with the short demo, a lot of potencial on this one.
- Changers Seven: yeah, I'm a tokusatsu fanboy, but I liked this game not because it's a tokusatsu homage, but because it's really well done, and it's just a prototype. It blow my mind how polished it was for a prototype. Sadly the team behind it stopped working on it for the time being, hope they go back on this one, I want to play it more.
Sadly I didn't take many photos of the event in general, I was having so much fun at it to take photos haha. And I didn't play all the games at event, it had so many games and so little time. Hope next year I can play more games. Now I'll take my leave to rest a bit before I start working on Dungeon Drafters 1.1 patch... and another project is on the horizon :)
See ya!
If you still here, go play all theses games that I talked about, it helps a lot theses devs, thanks.

A unofficial magical girl
Some years ago, at 2015, me and my friend Telio watched the Parallel Works from Gurren Lagann, and one of the episodes was one where two of the characters of the show are living in your modern day and transform in mahou shoujos and obviously Gurren Lagann is there on too (it's his show). We thought the idea of having mahou shoujos using mechas was a cool idea, and yeah, others shows already did this before, but it was really under used. We wanted to take this concept and make our own story, and then it was born, the idea of a girl who gets to be a mahou shoujo but she dosen't have any magical powers, and she needs to resort to firearms and mechas.
This was the whole baseline, so Telio wrote the script for a one-shot and I drawed the oneshot... But life got in the way, and my skills too were not good at the time, so the oneshot we had was one with a fun script and with unfinished art. And you are asking me: "why I'm talking about it?", it's simple, ever since I "finished" the art for this one-shot I'm eager to rework it, to give the art it deserves. I really love this one-shot idea, the characters, the whole aesthetic we got for it, and I feel I didn't do justice for what it should be.
I never talked about this idea publicaly, only for personal friends, but I'll share a pdf of the original one-shot, I feel like at least I should archive it, even if I don't like the art I made for it. It's only in portuguese, so bear with it, because I'll not translate it.
If you enjoyed this little one-shot, you can expect a new version with more pages, mostly because at the time we wanted to make for a festival, and the limit was 32 pages. And everything feels so fast-paced at this one-shot that I feel it needs some pages to breath a bit haha. And for the new version I already made some new concepts, you can check them out:
I'll not give a time for this to be done, because I want to work more freely on it, but I expect that at least I can come back and read this post and feel happy that I gave this one-shot the art it deserves in the future.
See ya!
If you still here, go play Galaxy Fraulen Yuna, thanks.

New site and first post
Hey! If you're reading this, welcome! In all my sincerity I don't expect anyboby to read this, but if you checked all the site and still came here to read some of my thoughts, welcome again! Haha.
In this first post I want to talk a little bit about the idea of what made me create this site/blog. First, I don't like social medias in general, I feel they create this feel that we're creating content for others instead for ourselves, so I'm always inclined to not post anything there, because I don't feel I'm in charge of what I'm doing there. Second, I wanted a place to archive my stuff and share my thoughts on things, I feel that sometimes there's stuff that I want to talk that only I care, and normally these thoughts just vanish into the air, so I wanted to archive them too. And sometimes I'll share stuff that I working on or that I intend to work on because this is who I'm, always doing something haha.
I pretend to post something every week, more because I want to create a routine of writing and keep a health archive of my thoughts. And if you reader notices that I didn't post a week or two, bear with this lazy artist here, that'll probably be imersed playing some cool RPG, or watching some cool Anime or Tokusatsu.
See ya!
If you still here, go watch Kamen Rider Agito, thanks.
